Going To Cash

I've liquidated most of my speculative positions, ALLI and EHTH.

I also sold half of my AAPL.

Sold all my GME on the nice bounce this morning.

Long story short, I've gotten punished, especially in positions like BLUD, where I've watched nice gains erode into losses. I will typically never allow a gain to erode to a loss, but in my endeavor to use more patience and give positions longer to run, I've succumbed. And that is the difficulty in trading. Its as if Mother Market new I was going to hold onto things longer...

The stockalicious widget is up-to-date and lists what I'm still holding. If you care to click on it, it will also give you the prices I got for my sells.

I'm now 45% in cash.

***Update*** I bought back ALLI 1 penny cheaper than I sold. I'm going to try and grab some cash back on a bounce.

***Update*** Took another loss on the ALLI. Dammit!

Bought 10 MVIS December 5s.

We've been holding MVIS together for a long time... Where's your pain threshold?

Jeff, probably in the 3.40s.

I'm so fricking mad at MVIS mgmt. I hope what they are doing makes sense. I am trusting that they have my best interests in mind, and that sometime in the not so distant future, everything will make sense.

where do you think mvis is heading? by ces it should be fine.

tehdrunky-

I think the bottom is likely near. I'm saying that as the vomit factor is high right now. I just don't believe the stock can push past 4.00
Plus, I'm so mad at the stock and the company that I'm becoming violent. Surely, that marks an extreme.

What, you think I have no skin in the game?

Apple up $10, at least you held some of it still.

I think I lost my ability to analyze microvision objectively. I think any other stock I would have sold no problem months ago. Why hold mvis if there is really no interest from the investor at large?

I luckily sold 100 naked calls after the big run to $6 and will hold until they expire worthless next yr at $2.50 strike.

Fly, of course you've got skin. Why would a space alien magician with a time machine not trade his own dough? I will have you know that I've been taking it like a man a lot more often lately, trying to be more patient, respond less to panic, etc. Well, so far, I'm not doing any better. But these things take time.

Anonymous- I have had the same thoughts about MVIS re: with many other stocks I would have long ago sold it. I guess it is the potential that I'm holding out for.

True story: I think Tokman has hypnotized us all. Normally, I'd dump this fucker 6 months ago.
