Good Morning World

Well it was nice to see the bears succumb to a market gap-and-crap.

Gigm initially lost almost half-a-point, but has now filled the gap.

With my money today, I want to buy more PFWD.

Also, I established a position in ARWR, 1K @ 6.50, because The Fly is "hearing positive chatter."

***Update*** Added 200 PFWD @ $16.42

Ducati will NOT approve of your arwr or pfwd trades.

lol...its funny that I actually thought of him (no kidding) as I was making the trades.

You know woodshedder, buying the dips works until it doesn't!!

This is how I look at it - if a guy was continually throwing eggs at your house would you sit back and hope for it to stop (not buying the dip) or would you go outside and lay a beating on that punk (buying the dip).

My personal favorite is when he asked what the volume would be if the djia opened at 50.

These are good times!

M- I came home drunk the night of Ducati's post about the Dow. However, I still put together a very insightful post about why that question was meaningless, and pointed out several other situations where volume precedes price. The next day, my comment was not up at his blog. It is entirely likely that I did not hit send, or messed it up some other way in my state of confusion. I was disappointed, but it wasn't worth it to me to recreate it.

SWN is kicking butt today.

Agreed. The only way I can bear to read Ducati's blog is under the influence of alcohol.

Chaps,

Good morning, your lunchtime really.

The DJIA @ $50 actually had a "point" to it, too bad woodshedders reply was never sent, I would been interested in the post.

Arrowhead..hate it.

Dip-buyers definitely feeling invincible currently.

Grant, I didn't realize the DJIA was denominated in dollars. Please explain.

mdawsz,

True enough, Diamonds [DIA] is what I should have posted.

Good day Ducati!
That was some funny stuff, where you remark about M being drunk when visiting your blog!

Good times!

I might try and recreate the post for you this evening.

If MVIS goes up another 10 cents today, I will have made 3K on that position alone.

Good times!

woodshedder,

I would be interested to read your point of view if you have time to rewrite the post. It is actually quite an important component of *trading success* and one that doesn't get discussed a great deal.

You see, we can sit down with a cup of tea [or brandy for mdawsz] and have a friendly chat.

Woodshedder,

Congrats on your recent success.

Although if I were you, I'd find out where the Fly lives and offer to fund a personal security guard for the guy since your 3 big winners are his calls.

BTW, that's not to take anything away from you. You click the "buy" button. I'm in the MVIS as well... I didn't react quickly enough with the ARWR though...

Keep kicking ass,

Grant, Hennessy is my cognac of choice, regardless of where it originates (France).

BTW Grant, you should pick up some MVIS - still looks cheap here.

mdawsz,

Ahh, the damn Frenchies, luckily in NZ we have good wines, thus I can avoid the gallic pestilence.

MVIS...no thank's, it's just not my sort of play. Additionally [warning bear statement] should the much hyped deal fall through/not materialize the stock is doomed as it earns next to nothing.

Pure speculations and crossing my toes are not the way I play the game.

I hope it does well for you guy's and it looks as if I may owe that Fly creature $10....but it ain't over till the fat lady sings.
