Got Crushed in AOB
I waited for a bounce, and couldn't get a decent one from AOB this morning. When it was trading around $9.20, I put in a stop, just in case it decided to continue cratering into the 8s. Well my stop hit. So I sold 2K AOB @ 8.93 for a total loss of $3250.00. That really really hurt. I considered holding it for a while, but after listening to the CC last night, it seems that mgmt. is not being clear about the numbers and whether organic growth is slowing as much as the numbers make it seem. Lack of clarity from mgmt. makes it hard to put a timeline into place as to when the share price might recover. Rather than having my capital tied up for a long time, I decided to take the loss, get back on the horse, and try to make the money back.

Dude, I was pulling for you.
Good thing you got out, AOB kept on tanking. Sorry about the loss.
Thanks guys. I'll tell you what. Not working in a financial industry, and not having anyone to talk to about trading makes it really hard to continue sometimes. What I like about blogging is that at least when I take a hit like today there are some people out there who understand.
sorry about the day wood. Earnings are a total crapshoot sometimes. Hopefully MVIS helps you out tonight.

the chart was screaming sell, sell. Sorry dude, shorts made a killing today. Pay more attention to what the charts are saying...good luck.

The chart had completed a H&S pattern. I was well aware of that and had mentioned it in previous posts. Charts don't mean anything during an earnings report. There are many charts that look stellar going into earnings, and then tank, and their are many that look like a turd and then explode up. Its a crapshoot, and I lost this time around. The bottom line is that there are some shananigans going on with the numbers at AOB, and mgmt. was not clear, and probably evasive, on why the organic growth is cut by half. They were punished severely for it.
